HT XLPE Power Cables

Why Choose Us?

Engineered for medium-voltage distribution, our XLPE-insulated, armoured HT cables deliver outstanding electrical performance and mechanical protection for voltages up to 33 kV. With precision extrusion, robust screening, and fire-safe outer sheaths, these cables ensure reliable power delivery in the most demanding underground and industrial environments.

High Dielectric Strength

XLPE insulation with conductor and insulation screens provides high voltage strength, minimal losses, and long-term reliability.

Low Dielectric Losses

Optimized insulation geometry minimizes energy dissipation and operational costs.

Mechanical Protection

Optimized insulation design reduces power losses and enhances efficiency.

Thermal Stability

Rated for continuous operation from –15 °C to
+90 °C and short-circuit tolerance up to 250 °C.

Chemical & UV Resistance

Outer Sheath options in FR PVC or UV-stable PE ensure outdoor durability.

Partial-Discharge Tested

Factory-tested at 24 kV/11 kV and 39 kV/33 kV to guarantee insulation integrity.

Applications

  • Primary and secondary power feeds in utilities and substations
  • Underground distribution in urban and industrial complexes
  • Power evacuation from solar farms, wind parks, and other renewable sources
  • Direct burial, duct, and trench installations
  • Heavy-duty circuits in mining, chemical, and process industries

Applicable Standards

  • IS 7098 Part 2 – XLPE-insulated, screened cables up to 33 kV (primary reference).
  • IS 8130 – Aluminium and copper conductor specifications.
  • IEC 60840 – For cables above 30 kV (optional).
  • IEEE 404 – For joints/terminations, if supplied.
  • BS 7835 – For LSZH sheath requirements, if specified
