CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) POLICY

Prem Cables Private Limited has, since its founding in 1964, believed that business success and social progress go hand in hand. We are more than cable makers; we are community builders, powering progress and uplifting lives from the factory floor to remote villages. This CSR Policy sets out our commitment, focus areas and approach to creating lasting, positive impact for the communities and environment in which we operate.

Our Philosophy

We are committed to conducting our business responsibly and to giving back to society in meaningful, sustainable ways. Our CSR efforts are anchored in the regions around our operations in Rajasthan, where they can make the most direct difference.

Scope & Applicability

This Policy applies to all CSR activities undertaken by Prem Cables, whether directly or through trusts, partners and implementing agencies such as the Paras Raj Bohra Memorial Trust. It is framed in the spirit of, and read in conjunction with, applicable laws governing corporate social responsibility in India.

Focus Areas

Our CSR programmes are concentrated in the following key areas:
Healthcare
Under the Paras Raj Bohra Memorial Trust, we operate a 50-bed village hospital providing free health check-ups and specialist surgeries for local residents, bringing quality care to communities that need it most.
Education
We run a fully funded higher-secondary school for local children, empowering the next generation with knowledge and opportunity so they can grow and succeed.
Clean Energy & Environment
We operate 4.35 MW wind farms in Jaisalmer (updated from 3.6 MW), supporting clean-energy generation and reducing the environmental footprint of our operations as part of our commitment to sustainable growth.
Community Development
Beyond our flagship programmes, we support initiatives that improve livelihoods, infrastructure and well-being in the villages and regions surrounding our plants.

Governance & Implementation

CSR activities are guided by the Company's management and reviewed periodically to ensure they are effective, transparent and aligned with our focus areas. We work with trusted trusts and partners to deliver programmes on the ground and to monitor their outcomes.

Monitoring & Review

We review our CSR initiatives regularly to measure their impact, improve delivery and ensure resources are used responsibly. This Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect evolving community needs, business priorities and legal requirements.
